On May 1, 2004, our local community, Beaverbrook, had a clean
up day, followed by activities for the whole family, and, of course, a
display of local EVs.

A small sample of the 250 people who came out to help clean up trash!

A nice shot of Sparky and the Twike.

Twike and Twailer 8^). Signs were quickly put together from recycled
plasti-board with acrylic paint.

Another view, with the ramps.

Here you can see the guiderails and ramps of the Twailer. The ramps
have sand imbedded in poly-urethane for grip (good idea Fred!).

Bob Nye (on the red 3 wheeler EV) came all the way out to Kanata to
join us for the day. Thanks Bob!

Later, Pat Beirne and his electric
Miata (license "NO 2 GAS") also showed up (Sorry, I can't believe I
forgot to take a
picture!). As proof, I can only offer this shot of our community
leader, Steve, and through the fence you can see Pat's Miata. Hope you
get a chance to see it up close some day!
When the crowds thinned out, then I took about 20 people for
a ride in the Twike in the parking lot. Lot's of EV smiles!
Back to Home.
